This funky basket is ideal as a waste paper bin or for simple, colourful storage. Its made with an incredible 110 reclaimed plastic bags that are collected from the streets and fields of Cambodia. The plastic bags once collected are washed, disinfected and then dried in the sun before they are sorted/colour matched and cut into strips to create a durable, colourful, lightweight yarn that is woven into the perfect everyday upcycled basket! This basket is not just 'ecofriendly' its extremely usable and ideal for the bedroom, bathroom or office!

The facts:

  • Made from reclaimed plastic bags, so they are incredibly durable, colourfast and lightweight.
  • Weatherproof so suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
  • Each carry bag clears a whopping 110 plastic bags from the streets and waterways of Cambodia
  • Easy to clean, they can be washed with soap or washing detergent and cold water, even in the cold cycle of the washing machine. Hot water or scrubbing with a brush can damage the products.
  • Easy to store. They can be pressed flat and simply bent back into shape again.
  • Made from bags that are all their "natural" color. They are not dyed. Rather, they are carefully sorted and color matched to create these amazing color schemes.
