These earrings are created through large paintings on maplewood and basswood which are cut up to be transformed into these stunning jewellery pieces. They include a combination of these paintings, metals and various fibres, such as tassels and feathers, to bring to life the most vibrant drop earrings!
All pieces are 'one-offs' - Bee makes similar pairs in similar colours but each pair is totally unique and one-of-a-kind!!!
Are BEE earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
Yes! Only surgical grade stainless steel is used on the bits that go through your ears.

About the Artist
Bee Twomey is an abstract artist currently based in Brisbane, Australia. Bee's artwork is bright and bold with a definite focus on vibrant colours. Her contemporary pieces are primarily painted with the purpose of filling a space with colour and emotion. Her preferred medium is acrylic but she also uses enamels and watercolours.
Bee paints large pieces on canvas or paper but she also paints intricate versions of her paintings on maplewood and basswood and these are transformed into stunning jewellery pieces. A combination of wood, metals and various fibres come to life as the most vibrant drop earrings and necklaces you can imagine.
