In 1861 a fire started in Tooley Street which burned for two weeks and ultimately led to the creation of London's first fire brigade. This is E&K's second Tooley, and it isn't an update, it is a complete and total Phoenix.
This is one of a kind and very rare this bag is large, roomy bag with a single shoulder strap that will allow you to wear it long and slouchy, tight and under the arm, or snug across the body. In order to deliver some crucial internal organisation there is a zip pocket on one side and a two-slot poacher style pocket on the other side. There is also a handy, quick grab zip pocket on the outside of the bag.
The Elvis & Kresse Firehose Tolley II Tote bag is made by combining Reclaimed Vintage Printing Blankets and genuine decommissioned British Fire-hose. The printing blankets are used in the print industry and are scrapped as soon as they develop any imperfections and have a beautiful matt black finish to them. The fire hose, previously deployed in active duty for up to 30 years fighting fires around the UK, softens with use but doesn't lose its strength. The Tote bag is lined with reclaimed military grade parachute silk.
